Seat Leon Cupra by JE Design

You have to be pretty good to survive in the changing world of auto tuning. Many of the tuning companies manage to do that because they specialize on certain brands and they aim only the fans of those brands. So is the JE Design. The German tuning firm is involved in the development and the distribution of vehicle tuning parts for Volkswagen, Audi and Seat. More specifically, the staff there focuses on the car styling and on improving aerodynamics according to some special methods. The latest tuning pack coming from them is for the Seat Leon Cupra.

The Seat Leon Cupra receives from its tuner a new widebody kit that costs €6,188 and which contains a three-piece front bumper attachment, extended wheel arches and faux carbon fiber side skirts. The hatchback is also equipped with a revised rear bumper with two molded diffusers. A possible client can also choose a KW coilover suspension which is priced at €2,299, a stainless steel sports exhaust system that costs €2,380 and a set of 19-inch alloy wheels with Dunlop Sport Maxx GT rubbers for some €2,052.

JE Design also took care of offering a power boost to the engine powering the Seat Leon Cupra. The turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine can be upgraded so as to generate 350 PS (258 kW) and 440 Nm (324 lb-ft) of torque. Considering the standard characteristics, this means an increase of 70 PS (51 kW) and 60 Nm (44 lb-ft). The engine tuning costs €2,299 and allows the hatchback to do the 0-100 km/h in 5.4 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
