Seat Leon X-Perience

Seat presents a range of cars that deliver the thrilling combination of superior engineering and pure enjoyment. Founded more than 60 years ago, it is a dynamic, design driven, young spirited brand constantly seeking to create new levels of quality car enjoyment. And this is what the people working for the Spanish automaker tried to do with the 2014 Seat Leon ST which has been revealed less than a year ago. Well, based on the ST model, the manufacturer now introduces the Seat Leon “X- Perience”.

The Seat Leon X- Perience features a suspension system that increases the ride height by 15 mm. A more rugged look is obtained by an additional plastic body cladding, as well as front and rear aluminum underbody protection. The wagon also receives black anodized roof rails and can be equipped with 17- or 18-inch unique alloy wheels while the side profile features beefier door sills. The inside of the vehicle is governed by brown leather and Alcantara upholstery with orange contrast stitching. There are also some special badges and a large 587-liter trunk that can be expanded to 1470 liters if the fold rear seats are folded down.

Moving on to the engine types powering the vehicle, we can have a 1.8 TSI producing 180 PS (132 kW) and 280 Nm (206 lb-ft) of torque, or a 1.6 TDI outputting 110 PS (81 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft), as well as a 2.0 TDI developing 150 PS (110 kW) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) and 184 PS (135 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft). All these engines can have either a standard six-speed manual or an optional DSG. The public reveal of the vehicle will take place at the Paris Motor Show in a few months.
