Skoda Citigo Monte Carlo

Compact yet roomy, economical yet agile, the Skoda Citigo is an ideal car both in and out of the city. It offers a surprisingly nice drive, especially in the infernal traffic we find in the crowded cities. The Skoda branch from The United Kingdom has just announced the introduction of a special edition for the Citigo and we are talking here about the Monte Carlo version of the vehicle.

The Skoda Citigo Monte Carlo is based on the Citigo SE version in the Czech fleet. As all the Monte Carlo editions, this one also brings a sporty look to the vehicle. Sporty means that the vehicle features a lowered suspension and black body stripes. The model also features a black grille, black mirrors and special alloy wheels. On the inside there are not too many modifications.  We find a sport steering wheel, two-tone upholstery and a Portable Infotainment Device with GPS navigation and Bluetooth connectivity.

The Skoda Citigo Monte Carlo is powered by a 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol engine that outputs 60 PS (44 kW) and 95 Nm (70 lb-ft) of torque. This unit is linked to a five-speed manual transmission which allows the model to average 62.8 mpg (52.2 mpg US / 4.5 L/100km) with CO2 emissions of 105 g/km.  This is the only engine option available for this edition. More specifications of the new Skoda Citigo Sport are already available. The Citigo Monte Carlo three-door is priced at £10,590 while the five-door variant begins at £10,940.
