A few hours ago Skoda revealed the 2014 Yeti facelift which according to the carmaker, will be revealed at the IAA in Frankfurt next month. The model has a new look and it is offered in two variants. The special highlights of the model are the two individual design ranges. The compact SUV is available in an elegant, stylish city look, but also as an off road look for trips in the country. The new fronts of both vehicles are now horizontally more accentuated and feature a distinctive grille and redesigned headlights.
These are available as an option for the first time with Bi-Xenon headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights. The wheel program has been expanded with our newly designed alloy wheel designs. The colors available now also include four new metallic finishes: Moon-White, Jungle-Green, Metal-Grey and Magnetic-Brown. This last one will only be used with the Yeti L&K. On the inside there is a 3-spoke steering wheel in 7 variations and also have new fabrics. Skoda Yeti is the first model with Optical Parking Assistant, an optional rear-view camera. This new system enables the Yeti to automatically reverse and parallel park and even pull out, so that you know.
Moving on, we also have to say that the specialists have offered double-sided floor covering in the boot, a detachable LED light in the boot and a lot more. Here we have to mention the VarioFlex rear seat system that offers unique interior versatility. In only several moments, the model will transform from a five to a four seat car, making more space for the rear passengers if needed. The new Skoda Yeti also comes with seven modern engines. Active safety is increased through the Electronic Stability Control and Anti-Lock Breaking System with Break Assist. The new bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights increase the visibility of the vehicle and the illumination of the road in the dark. In terms of passive safety, the model uses nine airbags. There is also a three-point seat belt in the front with belt tensioneres and height adjustment and height-adjustable complete the safety package. There is no information on the price of the new vehicle.
