And it’s got for sure the attitude, the power and the impressiveness of such a force. In order to celebrate its 60th anniversary, the Asian brand has just introduced special editions of the SsangYong Korando and Rexton W in the U.K.

The special edition of the SsangYong Korando is distinguished by its slightly revised front fascia featuring a slimmer black mesh grille along with LED daytime running lights and projector lights. The special Korando has a completely redesigned dashboard and also comes with reduced NVH levels, as the producer states. The vehicle is powered by a Euro 5-compliant 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbo engine which in the regular Korando produces 149 PS (109 kW) and 181 PS (133 kW). Other goodies are the 18-inch diamond-cut wheels, chrome detailing, rear spoiler and a pearl white lily metallic paint. Its price begins at 21,245 GBP for the manual model and from 22,745 GBP for the automatic version.

As for the SsangYong Rexton W, it is powered by a Euro 5-compliant 4-cylinder 2.0-liter e-XDi200 turbodiesel engine that develops 155 PS (114 kW) and 360 Nm (265 lb-ft).
