Subaru USA has published the prices for the 2014 BRZ. The lineup starts at 25,595$, for the Premium version with manual transmission. Limited version comes in two choices: manual and automatic transmission. Prices are 27,595 USD for the manual transmission and 28,695 USD for the automatic. Note that all 3 versions come with a 6-speed transmission.
The 2014 Subaru BRZ comes as a fine addition to any sports car fan. The producers focused on keeping a low overall weight, making steering smooth and precise whilst keeping a low center of gravity.
Regardless of the car’s power, the manufacturers made sure to provide it while keeping a high level of comfort and a low fuel consumption. Equipped with 2+2 seating, the vehicle aims to be used by a wide range of drivers, from the powerful car enthusiast, to the more practical-seeking driver taking his family on holiday.
The 2.0 boxer engine gives the car 200HP (147kw) and 205Nm (151 lb-ft) of torque. Manufacturers estimate an impressive low fuel consumption for the 2014 BRZ:
• manual transmission - 22 mpg city / 30 mpg highway / 25 mpg combined
• automatic transmission - 25 mpg city / 34 mpg highway / 28 mpg combined
With a roof height of 50.6 inches, a pronounced bulging rear and swept-back roofline, the car has a ‘coupe’ look to it, as you can see in the photo gallery.
Available in Premium or Limited trim levels, Subaru BRZ models don’t have differences in the performance department, all of them being equipped with front strut brace and the sport-tuned suspension.
However, the Limited trim offers additional comfort and accessories such as fog lights and body-colored spoiler on the outside, and Alcantara inserts and leather bolsters seats on the inside.
The destination and delivery costs range from $795 to $945 depending on the state.
