Subaru Outback

The Subaru Outback is the representative SUV of the brand. Subaru, the automobile manufacturing division on the Japanese company Fuji Heavy Industries, is famous around the world for using the boxer engine layout in most of its vehicles above 1500 cc and also for the use of all wheel drive train layout which have become the standard equipment for the Subaru cars.  Australia is a country with many SUV fans and it is obvious why. And it has just received an off-road inspired version of the Subaru Outback.

The Subaru Outback that is specially dedicated to the Australians has a more aggressive look than the American and European versions. The vehicle receives plastic body cladding, underbody protection and roof rails. Among the other new elements we can find on the car, worth mentioning are the tinted headlights, a dark grey grille, mud flaps and dark grey alloy wheels.

The new Subaru Outback comes after a number of suggestions that the company’s officials had from their customers. They wanted a more aggressive and tougher vehicle which would be extremely useful in rural areas. And it seems that feedback worked perfectly in this case because Australian got what they wanted. Subaru appreciates that all these upgrades worth $2500 from the total price of the SUV, but the price has only been increased by $500. This means that the 2.5i CVT Outback has a starting price of $38,990 AUD.
