Toyota is, nowadays, one of the top selling brands in the world and the company is committed to continuous improvement in everything it does, along with breakthrough products for the future. Smart from every perspective, as the manufacturing company likes to call it, the Toyota Vitz RS G Sports Concept has just been introduced at the Tokyo Auto Salon.
The Toyota Vitz RS G Sports Concept features a sport-tuned suspension, beefier brakes and a set of 17-inch aluminum wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza RE050 rubbers. The concept car also has side stripes and a larger rear spoiler, being worth of the name “sports” concept. The inside is equipped with sports seats, revised trim, updated instrumentation and that will be all when it comes to the cabin.
The Toyota Vitz RS G Sports Concept is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 109 HP (80 kW) and 138 Nm (102 lb-ft) of torque. This works connected to a five-speed manual transmission which provides power to the front wheels. The look is quite nice. Now it has to demonstrate that its worth the RS moniker, and considering the engine, many doubt that it can be a true RS vehicle.
