Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet Karmann Edition

Who can’t remember the good old Volkswagen Beetle? It is a name which takes us way back in history, which revives memories and which makes us conscious about the way ages change and people, too.  The Volkswagen Beetle entered production for the first time in 1945, although it was designed sooner, in 1930. The Beetle was thought as an economical car and back then it shook the world through its futuristic and unique look. The same shape has been kept over years, and now everybody can recognize the bug at the first sight. The Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet Karmann Edition was introduced last month at the Auto Mobil International in Leipzig.

The Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet Karmann Edition is ready to enter sales, having an elegant look and a lot of additional goodies.  The vehicle features an electrically powered soft top in Sioux brown. It also has a cover in a matching color. There are seven paint schemes available for this edition. The 18-inch sized alloy wheels, the door mirror caps are wearing Galvano Grey. Of course that Karmann labels couldn’t have missed from the picture. We notice them on the front wings.

The Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet Karmann Edition has sporty seats covered in Alcantara, having a Sioux brown colour. Inside we also discover a dashpad with “Beetle compartment” in a matt structured aluminum look. The pedals are also in aluminum. Other options include head restraints, leather steering wheel, gear shift lever and handbrake grip wrapped in leather and featuring grey decorative stitching. The wind deflector and “ParkPilot” parking distance control are also included. The vehicle is powered by a 1.2l TSI engine with manual gearbox, outputting 105 hp (77 kW). Pricing begins at €25,250.
