Volkswagen Beetle Convertible R-Line

This year at the Chicago Auto Show, German carmaker Volkswagen has introduced the R-Line package developed especially for the VW Beetle Convertible. The R-Line trim will be available on other models as well, models found on the North American market. The new VW Beetle Convertible will join the CC-R-Line, Beethel R-Line coupe and also the recently introduced Tiguan R-Line and Touareg R-Line. This 2014 Beetle Convertible R-Line model will be added to the Volkswagen line-up for the 2014 model year.

When it comes to the standard equipment and other elements offered as standard, the new model features a lot of treatments both for the interior and exterior. For the outside, we can see that the model will use to transfer the output to the road 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels covered in lower-profile all season tires. Here are being paired with the sport-tuned suspension of the VW Beetle Turbo. Actually, this combination offers more dynamic characteristics. Next on the list, we have to mention an R-Line badge on the front grille and also Bi-Xenon headlights with LED DRLs.

In terms of interior, the Germans have provided a lot of interesting elements like for example, the metallic-finish dashboard and door trim, a sporty flat-bottom R-Line multi function leather steering wheel, stainless-steel  R Line scuff plates and aluminum pedals. The list continues with leather sport steering surfaces and a lot more. The owner will also have the opportunity to enjoy keyless access with push-button start and the award winning Fender Premium Audio System, a 400 watt amplifier with 8.1 speakers and a rear subwoofer. Unfortunately the price was not revealed yet, but for sure it will be out in the open a bit closer to the launching date. These is all for now, folks. Do not go very far as more details are in their way.
