Volkswagen Golf Edition

The Volkswagen Golf is a compact car produced by the German manufacturer Volkswagen since 1974, marketed worldwide across seven generations, in various body configurations and under various nameplates. The Volkswagen Golf has won many awards throughout its history and it is one of the most appreciated vehicles in the world. With a bit of Mathematics, we discover that the Golf reached its 40th year of production. In order to celebrate this, the manufacturer has just unveiled the Volkswagen Golf Edition at AMI Leipzig.

VAG has been well represented these days at the festivals that are currently taken place. The Volkswagen Golf Edition has already been previewed by a concept introduced earlier this year. The production version features xenon headlights, tinted windows and it also rides on a set of 17-inch Singapore-style alloy wheels with 235/45r17 tires.

What is more surprisingly is the interior cabin of the Volkswagen Golf Edition, as this is the place where the biggest modifications are done. The model is distinguished by leather or Alcantara seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and illuminated door sill plates. The manufacturer also adopted a black roof liner, wood trim and a Composition Media infotainment system. The model also features Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection and the Light and Sight package which includes automatic headlights and rain sensing windshield wipers. The special "Golf Edition" model combines the typical characteristics of the successful bestseller with the exclusivity of the premium class so it’s got to be a hit.
