Volkswagen is among the most famous car producers in the world. The company is headquartered in Germany, this country being the stage of a continuous battle between brands like Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen, etc. So competition is one of the most productive. At the moment Volkswagen holds the headlines with the 2015 Volkswagen Passat, which has just been priced for the UK.

The Volkswagen Passat will enter sales in January 2015 and it will be priced starting from 22,215 GBP (RRP OTR) on the UK market. The Passat, which had the official debut in July, will only be powered by diesel units in the United Kingdom. These are a 1.6-liter 120 PS (88 kW), two 2.0-liter units with 150 PS (110 kW) or 190 PS (140 kW), and range-topping 2.0-liter bi-turbo developing 240 PS (176 kW), DSG gearbox and 4MOTION four-wheel drive. There is also a plug-in hybrid GTE version with a 1.4-liter TSI petrol engine and electric motor planned for October 2015.

The Volkswagen Passat will enter the market in five trim levels: S (22,215 GBP), SE (23,310 GBP), SE Business (24,010 GBP), GT (25,305 GBP) and R-Line (27,425 GBP). The standard options contein post-collision braking system with front assist, adaptive cruise control, pre-crash braking system and a lot more.
