Chicago is, for the time being, the key to all possibilities in matter of automobiles. The city hosts one of the most important auto shows in the world and it attracts all views is search for novelties in the auto field. Many great names in the field exhibit at the show: concepts, new vehicles, special editions, everything just to please the fans and clients. Volkswagen can’t miss the event, as it is for sure, one of the top rated brands in the entire world. One of the German cars presented in Chicago is the Volkswagen Passat Sport.
The Volkswagen Passat Sport is meant to fill the gap between the Passat SE and Passat SEL. The vehicle features fog lights, a rear spoiler and rides on a set of 19 inch Luxor-style alloy wheels. Three different colors will be available. We are talking about the Candy White, Tungsten Silver and an exclusive Urano Gray. On the inside there is nothing spectacular happening. It has some nice sport seats, faux carbon fiber trim and alloy pedals. The steering wheel is wrapped in leather, while the front seats are heated. Except for the stainless steel door plates, the special floor mats and the name “sport” there is nothing sporty about the vehicle.
The Volkswagen Passat Sport is powered by the turbocharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 170 bhp (126 kW) and 184 lb-ft (249 Nm) of torque. The Passat Sport will enter sales very soon and the price begins at $27,295 (including an $820 destination and handling charge). On the whole, it is an elegant, good-looking vehicle that can offer the comfort of a perfect ride.
