The Volkswagen Scirocco is no ordinary vehicle. It is one of the most attractive Volkswagen branded vehicles. Neither is ABT Sportsline a common name in the auto field. It is one of the best tuning companies when it comes to engine technology, aerodynamics, sports wheels, exhaust systems, suspension or brakes. Well, when the two names meet, a great project comes out to light, and this time we are talking about the Volkswagen Scirocco powered by ABT.
The ABT Volkswagen Scirocco is based on the third generation model presented at the Geneva Motor Show at the beginning of the year. As a matter of fact, the model is celebrating its 40th anniversary and this is the best occasion for ABT to show the ace on its sleeve. The 2.0 TSI engine is upgraded in such a way as to produce 310 HP (228 kW). Comparing this to the stock 210 HP (154 kW) we can say it’s a great boost. ABT offers upgrading for the other engine types, too.
ABT also offers for the Volkswagen Scirocco some new suspension springs and a height adjustable suspension kit. The ABT brake system is also in plan to offer its deceleration potential. The new visual elements of the Scirocco make it more attractive. The aerodynamic kit includes high-quality PUR-RIM material. The vehicle is equipped with restyled front-skirt, side skirts and ends, as well as a striking wing, a carbon-look rear panel and a dynamic rear skirt add-on. The latter hosts a 4-pipe rear muffler. And as a final touch, the ABT Scirocco rides on a set of 20-inch Gun-Metal ABT DR wheels. Take a look at this awesome vehicle.
