Aston Martin Vantage GT3

It seems special editions are one of the main concerns of the auTo brands. Here we have another one, this time coming from Aston Martin. The famous company has just detailed their Aston Martin Vantage GT3 special edition.

The Aston Martin Vantage GT3 is equipped with fiber door casings, lithium-ion battery, carbon fiber hood, polycarbonate rear window and a carbon fiber roof. It gets a set of 19-inch forged alloy wheels wrapped around in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires while stopping the road beast is possible thanks to Brembo carbon ceramic breaks. All these elements are responsible for a 100 kg weight loss comparing it with the V12 Vantage S.

The Aston Martin Vantage GT3 special edition is powered by a V12 6.0-liter engine outputting 600 HP (441 kW) and 625 Nm (460 lb-ft) delivered to the wheels through a 7-speed automated manual transmission. This configuration means a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in done in just 3.7 seconds and the maximum reachable speed is of 185 mph (297 km/h).

Other impressive elements can be found on the Aston Martin Vantage GT3, such as a carbon fiber propeller shaft, limited-slip differential, magnesium inlet manifolds and a track-tuned suspension with updated dampers and springs. On the inside we notice a carbon fiber stack with touch-sensitive controls, as well as an Alcantara-covered steering wheel, leather door pull straps, carbon fiber sports seats and an infotainment system with GPS navigation. The special edition will be limited to 100 units.
