General Motors continues to surprise us all and all thanks to the imagination of their specialists. Apparently the carmaker has now decided to bring the Chevrolet Coloradoback after missing from the US market for a while. As you will be able to see in the photo gallery, the new model has a modern look which makes us think of the Amarok. In the end, the model, despite the fact that it is a truck it emits a spirit of adventure. The new model was designed to share the same segment with Toyota Tacoma in the mid-size pickup truck segment.
The specialists have offered a lot of modern elements like, for example, an 8-inch diagonal colour touch screen on the centre console for the MyLink infotainment system and also a 3.4-inch diagonal driver information screen in the instrument cluster also offered as standard. Nothing is for sure yet, but chances are the new model will have trailering capacities that can exceed 6.700 pounds. It will receive power from a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder gasoline unit capable of generating 13 horsepower and 184 lb. ft. of torque. Another option in terms of engine is a 3.6-liter V6 unit capable of generating 302 horsepower and 270 lb. ft. of torque. To transfer all this output to the road, the engineers have offered a 6-speed automatic transmission for both rear and all wheels. General Motors will also offer a 2.8-liter 4-cylinder Duramax turbo diesel which should be very fuel efficient.
There are no details on fuel consumption yet, but will be available soon. The New Chevy Colorado will arrive in three trims: WT, LT and Z71. To transfer the output to the road, the engineers have offered 17-inch aluminium wheels. Please check out the photo gallery we have prepared for you.
