If you happen to go to Australia it is very possible that you see a Holden Special Vehicles Senator SV special edition on the streets. The edition has just been launched and has to offer plenty of goodies to the fortunate owners.
The HSV Senator SV is inspired by the Senator Signature, being equipped with special 20-inch SV Rapier five-spoke forged alloy wheels with a Dark Stainless finish mated with a pitch black look for the grille surround, mirror caps, fender vents, door surrounds, spoiler and badges. The four exhaust tips are distinguished by chrome. Stepping inside the car we notice "Senator SV" sill plates, individually numbered plaque and HSV performance seats manufactured from Onyx leather.
The HSV Senator SV is powered by an LS3 V8 6.2-liter engine outputting 462 HP (340 kW) and 420 lb-ft (570 Nm) sent to the wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and Active Select. AP Racing forged four-piston brake calipers, Magnetic Ride Control suspension, Driver Preference Dial and Enhanced Driver Interface (EDI) also come with the package. The special edition is limited to 52 units, 50 for Australia and 2 for New Zealand. The price kicks off at 83,990 AUD.
