Honda claims to be the power of dreams. On the whole, it is one of the most complex corporations in the world producing from motorcycles, trucks, planes, motorboats to robots and household items. In the auto field it is the fifth car manufacturer in the world and the brand has just introduced the 2015 Honda Legend in Japan. The vehicle is nothing else but a rebadged version of the Acura RLX Sport Hybrid found in the US.
The 2015 Honda Legend keeps being powered by the same V6 3.5-liter engine working together with three electric motors, two placed at the rear and one at the front, a 260 volt lithium-ion battery and a seven-speed DCT transmission. Together they create what it's being called as a Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system. The combined output is 382 HP (281 kW) and 461 Nm (341 lb-ft) which according to the specialists at Honda is just enough to provide an acceleration better than a V8 while granting the fuel economy of an inline-four engine.
The 2015 Honda Legend features "Jewel Eye" LED headlights and benefits from a wide array of options including a head-up display, digital speedometer, color display built into the rear center armrest along with a Krell Industries sound system packing 14 speakers. The vehicle will be priced around ¥6,800,000.
