Hyundai ix20 facelift

Hyundai is a company which tries to hold on to its top place among the Asian vehicles. It keeps coming with new things and it manages to raise interest. The South Koreans have just released the facelift version of the Hyundai ix20, which has a pretty rough job. It has to gain terrain in the European market.

The Hyundai ix20 facelift is characterized by restyled projector headlights and new hexagonal radiator grille with mesh-type or bars-type design. At the back it is equipped with a set of updated LED taillights, while the model has also received new sets of 16 and 17-inch alloy wheels. The interior options include heated steering wheel and a new generation audio system with iPod connectivity and integrated My Music (1GB storage), as well as Bluetooth connectivity and a USB and AUX connection.

The Hyundai ix20 facelift is available with four engine types, two petrol and two diesels. On the gasoline side we have the 1.4 and 1.6 liters and have an output of 90 HP (66 kW) and 125 HP (92 kW). The 1.6 version will be available with a new 6-speed automatic gearbox which is used instead of the old 4-speed auto. On the diesel side, the ix20 will be powered by a 1.4-liter engine generating 77 HP (57 kW) or 90 HP (66 kW), or a 1.6-liter motor producing 115 HP (85 kW) or 128 HP (94 kW). Both diesels will work together with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The facelift is quite successful, so take a look.
