It’s not something unusual for a fashion designer to team up with a car producer and together to create a refreshing new model. It’s the case with Paul Smith and Land Rover. The fashion specialist tried to offer a new look the already famous Land Rover Defender.
The Land Rover Defender with Paul Smith’s print is a one-off vehicle, but a very inspirational one. The SUV is clearly distinguished by 27 different exterior colors as well as satin accents on the mirrors, door handles and wheels. There's also a hand-painted bee on the roof which is a "tongue-in-cheek reference to the countryside and the heritage of the car" as its creator state.
The one-off Land Rover Defender also has a distinguishing interior. It features leather and fabric seats with blue contrast stitching. The vehicle also has a leather-wrapped dashboard and a revised clock with a Paul Smith fascia. Smith himself thinks of the Defender as a British symbol and he proudly states that he owns such a model which he uses in the countryside of Italy.
