Land Rover Range Rover HST developeing 380HP

The New York Auto Show is about to begin next week and the most important brands are doing the final touches on the products that are going to be exhibited in the Big Apple. Land Rover has already finished working on the 2016 Range Rover Sport HST version and it has revealed it before the official debut from N.Y.

The Land Rover Range Rover HST is powered by a supercharged V6 3.0-liter engine which generates 380 HP (279 kW). This makes it 40 HP (29 kW) more powerful than the regular Range Rover Sport 3.0-liter V6 Supercharged model. Apart from the power bump, the HST version receives a Stealth Pack combined with a Santorini Black roof, restyled spoiler and non-reflective surrounds. The SUV is equipped with unique 21-inch alloy wheels with a dark satin grey finish, upgraded brakes with red brake calipers. A larger 22-inch set of wheels is also available for some extra money. Glossy black accents are set on the hood, front wing vents, fog lamp bezels and grille. Of course the special badging, sculpted body-colored lower door panels and extra vent detailing can’t miss from the picture.

The Land Rover Range Rover HST benefits of a few chassis updates that increase the driving experience and at the same time keep the comfort to a high level. The suspension also received some modifications. The vehicle also gets a specially tuned Terrain Response system with a Dynamic Mode optimizing suspension, electronic systems and the electric power-assisted steering for on-road driving. The interior of the SUV is distinguished by two-tone seats trimmed in Oxford leather, ebony door trims and center console, ebony headlining, Noble-plated paddle shift gear levers and the compulsory HST badging, an aluminum trim, bright "Sports" pedals and four ebony/color combos for the leather upholstery, plus an all-ebony version. The vehicle will officially debut next week and orders begin in April.
