German carmaker, Mercede-Benz, has been working hard these last few months on a project that also involves Brabus. The model is mind is the Mercedes-Benz GLA, which now comes with the AMG Sport Package. The last model improved by the engineers was the GLA 250 4MATIC. Now, on the other hand, all their attention is going towards a GLA 220 CDI. As you can easily see in the photo gallery, the newly improved model comes with an orange paint combined with several glossy black portions and pieces; here we have to mention the air vent surrounds, the front spoiler lip, the alloy wheels, side skirts, roof rails, but also the rear wind and diffuser.
The outside of the car is not the only thing different, but the German specialists have also improved model on the inside, under the hood, to me more precise. Now, the GLA comes with a 4-cylinder 2.2-liter turbodiesel engine capable of receiving a plug and play D3 kit which increases the output of the engine by 40 horsepower and 60 Nm of torque. In the end, the car will reach 210 horsepower and 410 Nm of torque. As soon as the package will be installed, the GLA 220 CDI by Brabus will be capable of accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in 8.0 seconds and to reach a top speed of 220 km/h.
These are all the details available for the moment regarding this new project, but stay tuned as more are on the way.
