Mercedes C-Class Estate by VATH

Tuners usually show us a different side of a standard vehicle. Well, Mercedes branded cars are constantly being submitted to changes and this time VATH tried to discover another face of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate, although the modifications are quite subtle.

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate usually generates 156 HP (115 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) with the help of its 1.6-liter turbocharged engine. However, VATH played some ticks on the engine and they were able to reach 192 HP (141 kW) and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque. The extra oomph package is priced at €2,011.10 (plus €297.50 mounting) and allows the upgraded C-Class Estate to hit a maximum speed of 140 mph (230 km/h), a little bit more than the stock version which reaches 138 mph (223 km/h).

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate also received some other goodies from VATH. One of them is the set of lowering springs priced at €345,10, which have got the C-Class Estate closer to ground by 30mm. The standard wheels were dropped off and the wagon received titan color 20-inch alloys available as a set for €6,111.84. A €1,416.10 (plus €178.50 mounting) carbon fiber front spoiler is also available. The rear end can get a €1,654.10 (plus €238 mounting) carbon diffuser as well as a sports exhaust system with quad oval pipes which costs €2,011 and an extra €297.50 for installation. That will be all about the VATH package for now.
