Carmaker Mini is moving quite fast and of course, this can only be a good thing. In the photo gallery you will have the chance to see fresh photos of the new model the automaker has developed, the F55. It will be a bit difficult to tell a lot by the two photos, but it is better than the previous spied prototypes of the car that have been made public earlier. The new F55 seems to have sport shorter doors and also the wheelbase seems to be longer in comparison to the traditional 3-door version of the BMW New Mini, third generation which we had the opportunity to see for the first time at the Los Angeles and Tokyo Motor Show in November 2013.
Different specialists say that the models should be at least 50 mm longer in comparison t the 3-door F56. This detail refers to the fact that the new model comes with the newly developed space aiding rear passenger legroom and a leaser degree, the cargo area. Besides all these, the new models also comes with a two-seat and traditional three-seat bench layout for the rear compartment, to make sure everyone is comfortable inside.
The new model receives power from the same engine that powers the F56. The main element is the new 1.5-liter 3-cylinder unit, but on the same list we have the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged unit as well. Mini will first launch the F56 3-door model on the market this next spring and the one to follow will be the F56 5-door version which will arrive towards the end of 2015. The F57, the Cabriolet version will be available in 2015 only, so more details on it will be revealed in the next few months, for everyone to enjoy.
