Porsche 911 facelift

Porsche carmaker is trying to leave us all with our mouths open. According to different sources, the specialists are planning of offering turbocharging to all 911 range, but one. We are not sure about what determined the management to take this decision, howerver chances are it will happen quite soon. The model that will be left with no turbocharging will be the 911 GT3 RS, but the other versions will get a turbocharged motor. For the curious, unfortunately there are no specifications regarding the new engine, but what we do know is that the 911 GT3 RS will be able of generating up to 500 BHP, which is the equivalent to 373 kW.

You should also know that the Porsche Cayman GT4 is being worked at now and chances are it will be released this year, sometime around September at the Motor Show that will take place in Frankfurt. The engineers developing this are the same ones developing the 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 RS duo. Different specialists are waiting to get a lighter car with an output close to 400 BHP.

Different sources are also indicating that Porsche is now working on a new model that will be placed somewhere between the 911 and the 918 Spyder, a model that is planned to receive power from a V8 engine, perfect to make its introduction inside the next generation Cayenne and Panamera. We should hear about this misterious model before 2020.
