Porsche cars have always been among the favourites of the auto fans. And tuning companies had a lot to gain out of this. Many of them were attracted to upgrade the German supercar. Maxi-Tuner is the last of them and has just introduced an upgrading kit for the Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S.
The Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S are both powered by a 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine, which in standard configuration, outputs 520 HP (383 kW) and 660 Nm (710 Nm with overboost) in the 911 Turbo and 560 HP (412 kW) and 700 Nm (750 Nm with overboost) in the 911 Turbo S. The two models also have in common a direct- injection.
The Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S usually satisfy their drivers. However, there are a category of owners who want more. For them, Maxi-Tuner can do an engine ECU remapping for €1,899. This sum raises the figures related to the powering unit to a total of 635 HP (467 kW) and 864 Nm (637 lb-ft) of torque. The performance test confirmed that the upgraded vehicle is 0.3s faster than the stock version. The maximum speed was also raised to 328 km/h (203.81 mph). For an additional €1,990, the tuner can also place a special stainless steel exhaust system. So if you want to make your Porsche faster, this might be just the right choice.
