This year at the Detroit Motor Show a lot of carmakers are trying not to lose face in front of their customers and especially in front of their competitors. We will have the possibility to see a lot of new and impressive models. One imaginative manufacturer has created the new Smart Cabrio model which will be available for sale starting this spring. We are talking about the exclusive smart fortwo edition flashlight that is available for ordering starting this month.
What you should know about this model is that the bodypanels of the edition flashlight come in the color matt crystal white or alternatively in deep black. The safety cell comes in lava orange and also the door mirror caps. The designers have also rovided black radiator grille, black alloy wheels in a 3-twin-spoke design. On the inside, the new Smart Fortwo is equipped with black leather with black fabric inserts on the seat backrests, orange stitching and also an orange stripe on the kneepad. The interior is completed by specially made edition flashlight floor mats. In terms of technology, the model includes an RDS radio with USB and AUX ports for MP3 or CD player and two integrated loudspeakers.
For the moment, the prices that have been announced mention EUR17.580 for the new edition, but a confirmation will come soon. We will all have the opportunity to see the new model for the first time at the Detroit Motor Show and it will be available worldwide. Of course, the equipment and configuration might vary depending on the country.
Depending on the engine type the prices start at EUR17.580 for the 1.0-liter 3-cylinder in-line naturally aspirated unit and can go up to EUR22.992 for the electric motor, whereas the 1.0-liter 3-cylinder in-line turbo engine will cost EUR18.150.
