The SUV market keeps expanding and people don’t seem to get tired of the new models. Subaru has just finished working on their Subaru Forester 2015 model year and the vehicle offers a few improvements comparing to its predecessors.
The Subaru Forester will enter sales on 1st April in UK. It is distinguished by a new powertrain combination that brings together the 2.0-liter diesel engine with a Lineartronic continuously variable transmission and an all-wheel drive system. This configuration allows the Forester to sprint the 0-62 mph distance in 9.6 seconds, to return 46.3 mpg UK (38.5 mpg US / 6.1L/100km) and to have CO2 emissions of 158 g/km. The engine also received new glow plugs, updated turbocharger settings and a new common-rail injection system. A new radiator, oil cooler and radiator fans are also available.
The 2015 Subaru Forester features an updated inside with piano black accents, updated climate controls and an additional USB input. The SUV is also equipped with additional sound deadening material and a standard infotainment system including a 7-inch display on XC, AC Premium and XT variants. On the whole, the Japanese vehicle looks interesting.
