Subaru Forester STi

We recently found out Subaru has posted some photos of its new hot STi version of its Forester SUV. The public release will be made only on the 25th of November. Unfortunately, the vehicle won’t be available for those of you living in the United Kingdom.

Going back in time, the history is like this: Subaru started producing these first amazing SUVs ten years ago and you know how they say it – it ain’t over till it’s over. Well, the company isn’t over because a new version of the Forester STi is to be made available really soon.

The Japanese company designed the new SUV by squeezing the 2.5-litre turbocharged boxer engine from the Impreza STi into its cool Forester. We have received no price information till now, but some people out there tend to believe the new Subaru Forester will be a great competitor to the Porsche Macan, which is currently dominating the premium end of the market.

That competition could really offer a good start to Subaru, if the price were to be a good one. It is said that people always likes features like its aggressive design or speed and so, there were some Subaru SUVs imported to the United Kingdom. If you are wondering what engine version powers it, learn that some articles try to anticipate a similar powerplant, meaning the turbocharged flat-four engine in the Impreza STi, producing well in excess of 250bhp.

Also, it will probably be fitted with a four-wheel drive system and a six-speed manual gearbox. These are all speculations though and we won’t know more until the official information release. The fans can’t wait for the public release and they expect the new Subaru STi SUV to reach a top speed of at least 150mph. So, due to the fact the Subaru company didn’t specify any technical details yet, we can only sit and wait for what’s said to be not a long wait. For those of you who are enthusiastic for the launch of this car, we learned the process which allows you to import one vehicle is not so hard. Hopefully we’ll soon get to see the Subaru SUV on the roads of the UK.
