Subaru WRX S4 Prova

This year at the Tokyo Auto Salon, Subaru carmaker has introduced their new WRX S4 model. If you just take a look at the photo gallery you will notice that the model looks identical as the international version, but with small differences. For instance it is equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, with a more obvious front spoiler lip, LED daytime running lights and a lot more. On the outside, the new WRX S4 is equipped with Ohlins suspension, high performance brakes and also, to make its look more interesting, with carbon fiber rear wing. On the inside, the Prova is equipped with Recaro Sport Seats and Alcantara sport steering wheel.

The power comes from a 2.0-liter direct-injection turbocharged engine capable of generating up to 300 PS and 400 Nm of torque. The US version of the model can reach up to 272 PS and 349 Nm  of torque. The enginners have connected the a Lineartronic continuously variable transmission with automatic electronic control to the engine, in Japan and in terms of the US, the model is connected to a 6-speed manual gearbox. No matter which one we think about, all of them come with a Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system that contais a Variable Torque Distribution technology as well.
