Concepts, dream cars, family haulers- you will find all these in one single place, the Chicago Auto Show, which opens its doors on Saturday, 14th February. So you should visit the place, especially if you happen to be in search of the perfect Valentine Day present. Two of the vehicles that might be attractive for a present are the special editions of Toyota Corolla and Camry.
The Toyota Corolla Special Edition is inspired by the S Plus trim but is equipped with bespoke 17-inch glossy black wheels, black interior with red stitching and red-accented dashboard and door trim, as well as unique floor mats, Smart Key System with push button start. The available body colors are Absolutely Red, Super White and Black Sand Pearl. For some extra money you can even receive a power tilt/slide moonroof or the company's Entune Premium Audio with Navigation and App Suite. 8,000 units will be manufactured between August and December.
The Toyota Camry Special Edition has as a basis the SE version and features special 18-inch two-tone alloys, smoked taillights, power tilt/slide moonroof and a choice of two colors: Blue Streak Metallic and Blizzard Pearl. The interior is distinguished by sport seats trimmed with black SofTex bolsters and blue patterned inserts, while special floor mats and high contrast blue stitching also come with the package. There are also some other options such as Entune Audio Plus, Smart Key with push button start, Qi Wireless Charging, sport meter cluster with white background and blue details, along with an optional Entune Premium Audio system with navigation and app suite. The company plans to manufacture 12,000 units of this model. All of the vehicles will be powered by a 178 bhp and 170 lb-ft 4-cylinder, 2.5-liter engine coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission. But we’ll discover more in a few days.
