The auto market doesn’t stop to amaze us and one big surprise just came from the British specialty marque Ultima Sports. The company has just revealed its spectacular Ultima Evolution Coupe and Convertible. The two models are inspired by the Le Mans Group C and will be replacements for the Ultima GTR and Ultima Can-Am.
The Ultima Evolution will be powered by a Chevy LS V8 engine offered in no less than 15 power tunes, from 350 bhp (261 kW) to 1,020 bhp (760 kW). The Coupe delivers a huge torque of 920 lb-ft (1,246 Nm) which should be enough for the vehicle to do a 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) sprint in just 2.3 seconds while the 0-100 mph (0-161 km/h) run takes 4.9 seconds. It will do 0-150 mph (0-241 km/h) in 8.9 seconds before reaching more than 240 mph (386 km/h).
The Ultima Evolution is equipped with LED headlights and taillights, a set of 18-inch alloy wheels shod in Michelin PS2 245/35 ZR18 front and 335/30/ZR18 rear rubbers, as well as the already traditional air conditioning, an Alpine entertainment system with sat-nav, leather and Alcantara upholstery, Bluetooth, rearview camera, rear parking sensors and a start button. The two models are fresh air on the traditional auto market.
