German carmaker, Volkswagen has managed to produce, according to a lot of specialists, the most luxurious Amarok to date. Good news for the UK customers, as the model is now available for sale in the UK. The manufacturer has produced 500 units for this region and all come equipped with a 2.0-liter bi-turbo diesel engine, or 180 PS. For those of you interested, you should know that the starting price was established at GBP29.550, not including VAT. The power is being sent to the wheels though a 6-speed manual transmission. Also important to know, is that the model has a 4MOTION option as well, in which case, the price can go up to GBP30.970, excluding VAT. The top of the range also comes with an 8-speed automatic version and this gets a permanent 4MOTION system.
The new Amarok Ultimate is available in two exterior colorscalled Deep Black and Reflex Silver and this is not all. On the side doors you will be able to see the Ultimate decals. The model also comes with xenon headlights, double chrome strips on the radiator grille and the model runs on wheels equipped with 19-inch polished alloys. This is a first in the series, the new model will come with optionally available LED daytime running lights.
For the interior, the specialists have provided standard-fit Alcantara-trimmed seats, a leather multifunction steering wheel, alloy pedal covers, but just for the automatic version, but also heated driver and front passenger seats. Just to make sure we have covered everything, we must also mention the reversing parking camera, rear privacy glass, heated and adjustable door mirrors with chrome trim and also Bluetooth.
