Volkswagen is one of the most famous names in the auto industry and, as its name suggests, it is a car for everyone. Maybe this is possible to the great variety of vehicles it produces. Lately it has been a rather busy company, developing all kinds of new projects. One of them is expanding the Volkswagen Polo lineup with a new Lounge special edition, available for Germany.
The Volkswagen Polo Lounge brings novelties just in terms of appearance, both on the inside and on the outside. The vehicle is equipped with smoked taillights, tinted rear windows, a glossy black radiator grille, ‘Lounge’ badges and a new set of 15-inch sized alloy wheels. On the inside we can spot a cruise control system, rain-sensing wipers, automatic climate system, auto-dimming rear view mirror, infotainment system with six speakers and ‘coming home’ headlight function.
The Volkswagen Polo Lounge special edition will be available with a variety of engine types. There will be four petrol and three TDI diesel engines available. The base 1.0-liter 5-speed model is priced from 15,200 EUR (18,140 USD), while the range-topping 90 HP (66 kW) TDI version mated with DGS gearbox costs around 20,375 EUR (24,300 USD). The small vehicle looks quite nice and the additional technology makes it perfect for everyone who wants a comfortable ride in the crowded cities.
