BMW is a universal brand. We find the German branded vehicles everywhere on this planet. And especially for the U.S. market we have the limited edition of the BMW M5 “30 Jahre M5”. And each of the units of this edition is priced at $325,000.
The special BMW M5 “30 Jahre M5” edition is limited at 300 units. However, only 30 of them have reached American territory. First, the vehicle had a price tag of $138,275. But then they were listed on eBay with different prices. The highest has now reached $325,000. The car features the Competition Package which lowers the suspension by 10mm and includes stiffer anti-sway bars, a reprogrammed M Dynamic Mode, new engine management system and a boosted charge pressure.
The special BMW M5 “30 Jahre M5” edition has some additional 40 HP and 20 Nm for a total of 600 HP and 700 Nm sent to the rear wheels exclusively via a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. It is also equipped with unique two-tone 20-inch alloys, a Frozen Dark Silver metallic paint from the Individual catalog, together with individual numbering and special badges and plaques. All the new elements are translated into a 0.4s faster sprint compared to the standard model. This is how the sedan can reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.9 seconds. The maximum speed is electronically-limited at 155 mph (250 km/h) but BMW offered an optional M Driver's Package that increases the limit to 190 mph (305 km/h).
