As you may all remember, not long ago, we had the opportunity to check out the latest models availabe on the market at the 2015 CES that took place in Las Vegas. Chevrolet is one of the names that presented a new development for all the Chevy enthusiasts and not only. We are, of course, talking about the second generation Volt. The new model comes with an interestingle redesigned front fascia, that now has a special pair of upper and lower grills together with new LED daytime running lights and headlinghts that will not let you without an impression. The roofline seems to be more sloped and fingers crossed that this did not affect the rear headroom. It is true, the overall design can not e considered a new piece, but actually might make you think about a Honda Civic, some have said.
According to Chevrolet, the new model will have a better steering system and also the acceleration will also be improved while the noise inside the car will be reduced together with the harshness and vibration levels. For those of you who do not know, the battery pack has been developed together with LG Chem and can store up to 20% more, despite the fact that this is 13 kg ligher, which is really something. According to the carmaker, the new Volt will have an electric-only range for the electric fans. Unde the hood, the model hides a 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder gasoline engine which has direct injection, cooled exhaust gas recirculation together with a variable displacement oil pump.
We will all have the opportunity to see the new model for the first time out in the open at the 2015 North American international Auto show that will take place in Detroit in a week.
