There is good news coming from Fiat regarding a new possibility for all their customers. Apparently they can now configure the all new Fiat 500X Crossover and the starting price was established to start at USD20.000, for the US market. The new model is the perfect combination between the well-known Italian style with functionality, performance and the all-wheel drive functionality. So that you know, the vehicle is available in 5 trim levels: Street which includes Pop, Easy and Lounge, the Trekking and Trekking Plus which have a more athletic look. The price for the top model can go up to USD27.100. All these three are available with the 500X advanced all-wheel drive system which can be acquired for an extra USD1.900.
The 2016 Fiat 500X will be available with a 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. This engine is capable of generating 160 horsepower and 184 lb. ft. of torque. Another option in terms of engines, we have the 2.4-liter Tigershark MultiAir2 capable of generating 180 horsepower and 175 lb. ft. of torque, which comes with, and now hold on to your hats, a 9-speed automatic transmission on all-wheel drive and front-wheel drive models.
The new Fiat 500X also comes with up to 70 standards and available safety and security elements. Here we can mention Forward Collision Warning-Plus with full stop, LaneSense Lane Departure Warning-Plus, Blind-spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Path detection.
