For Aston Martin, Ford receives 931 million dollars

Earlier this year Ford Motor Co. received $931 million when it sold its Aston Martin brand. The numbers are closed to what Ford released to the press on March 12th of this year, stating they would get $848 million while reserving a $77 million in the company.

The $931 million was a combination of part cash part stock in Primrose Cove Ltd., the holding company for the buyers of Aston Martin, according to Automotive News. The group of investors is compiled by two investment firms from Kuwait, Investment Dar and Adeem Investment Co., as well as racing entrepreneur John Sinders and David Richards. Earlier this week in a government filing was revealed that, from the deal, Ford would see a pre-tax profit of $187 million.
