The first prototype released by Lamborghini in 1963 was the 350 GTV, previewing the first production auto: the 350 GT.
Unveiled at the 1963 Turin Auto Show, the 350 GTV stirred much attention since Lamborghini was a tractor manufacturer. It has leather interior and a bright metallic blue color at the finish. The engine would not fit in the vehicle so it wasn’t installed. Same with the vertical carburetors, there were too large to fit under the hood. The vehicle been restored just recently; the chassis was modified to make space for the engine.
Powered by a V12 engine with 360 hp at 8000 rpm and a peak torque of 240 lbs-ft with 6000 rpm, the maximum speed was an amazing 174 mph.
