Jaguar will only be using the Jaguar leaper logo, without the word

Jaguar says that its future autos will not show the company's name. In the next couple of years, Jaguar models will use only the Jaguar `leaper` logo and not the word `Jaguar`. The new unveiled XF will have the Jaguar name in order to familiarize the public with the new styling design from Jaguar.

`Eventually we will take the name off and just leave the leaper,` said the head of Jaguar design - Ian Callum. `When people see the XF they won't know what it is, so they will look for a name badge. That's why we've left it on, but put the leaper there as well. The name will go probably on production cars within two or three years.`
