GS460 by Lexus, GS F auto for 2010

A new model has been added by Lexus to its GS lineup, called GS460. A fitting name suggesting the power is come from the same 4.6 liter V8 engine like in the LS. The GS will not have the same direct injection system like the LS, making the power loss smaller. The GS460 will feature 342 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque, with a maximum speed of 149 mph and reaching a 0-60 time in 5.4 seconds.

A report said that the new GS, programmed for 2010, apparently will be available in GS-F guise feature a 5.0 liter V10. The engineers from Toyota have been developing an engine inspired from F1 for the new Lexus LF-A and it should make 500-plus horsepower. Toyota hasn’t confirmed the vehicle yet.
