Chrysler to increase sales with 50 percent outside North America

Chrysler intends to increase the sales with 50% outside North America. `The goal is to reach 50 percent, and I think we can do that` said the president of Chrysler – Jim Press. This sales shift will make Chrysler less dependent on the American. Press didn’t failed to give us a time frame for this new business plan.

`With the way Chrysler is structured, selling big trucks and big cars, they are going to have to revamp their whole lineup to appeal internationally` George Magliano, a New York analyst with Global Insight Inc said to The Detroit News.

Chrysler partnered with Chery recently — a Chinese carmaker — to produce a small auto for the markets outside North America.
