The pricing for Pontiac Vibe

Pontiac confirmed today pricing for the Vibe 2009 will begin at $15,895 when it will be in dealer showrooms next year in February. Also coming back to the Vibe family as a 2009 model year, the all-wheel drive will start with $19,495 and the GT model (performance-oriented) will begin at $19,895. All the costs include a $585 charge for freight and destination.

“Our goal with the new Vibe was to enhance its style and performance without sacrificing functionality and fuel economy” said Craig Bierley, the Pontiac marketing director. “Every Vibe model now comes with a bold new look, increased engine power and a host of standard safety features, but still gets up to 32 miles per gallon”.

The Vibe runs with a 1.8-liter engine having five-speed manual transmission with an upgrade posibility of 2.4-liter engine. It has standard safety like: four-wheel disc brakes featuring ABS, OnStar, six airbags, and StabiliTrak electronic stability control.

GT and all-wheel drive models come with the standard of 2.4-liter engine - 158 hp.
