Hummer revealed the HX Concept at the Detroit Auto Show. It`s a small, open-air vehicle pointing towards the United States brand`s plans for some compact SUV competing head-to-head with the Freelander. The upcoming car will be badged H4 and it could be produced in almost a year.
The HX Concept has removable roof panels enabling the concept to take three distinct bodystyles. There is a full hard-top, an exposed fastback, and if you remove the rear C-pillars, it will adopt the military off-roader look.
The HX Concept runs by a direct-injection 3. 6-litre V6 FlexFuel on E85 bioethanol, this might be used also in the production variant, so the H4 model will be an eco-friendly auto. Subscribe to Car news by Email |
