Yes, it`s true, in Detroit this year, Lexus unveiled only the LF-A Roadster Concept. But don`t worry, they announced great plans for the upcoming year: the brand`s long-awaited first hybrid-only auto will be introduced at the Detroit Auto Show in 2009.
Until now the firm only had hybrid versions of cars already offered having a conventional internal-combustion engine, like the RX SUV, GS and LS sedan models.
`Next year here in Detroit, we will expand our conventional hybrid line-up by staging world premiers of two all-new, dedicated hybrids, one for Toyota and one for Lexus` Katsuaki Watanabe, president at Toyota Motor affirmed at the Detroit auto show.
No further details on the first hybrid from, but Toyota`s 2009 hybrid auto unveiling will be an all new-generation Prius.
