Accord Euro TSX 2009 to be revealed by Honda

Even though the Geneva Motor Show is more than 4 weeks away, first spy shots of the models to be revealed were already made public by profile magazines and websites. After pictures of models like Mazda2 three-door and the facelifted SL were revealed, it comes now the turn for Honda to unveil its latest image of the next-generation Accord Euro (named also TSX on the U.S. market). It seems- as far as these shots show- that the vehicle has quite many similarities with the Tourer concept showed at 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show- for example, the shape of the glasshouse follows the same basic features of the concept model and this is also the case of the headlights.
Acura will hit the U.S. market just later on this year, while Europe will enjoy it earlier, probably by the middle of this year. The Accord Euro will be powered by a range of advanced, low emissions engines, and it will be one of the first cars to offer an entirely Euro 5-compliant engine lineup. The power output will be boosted and moreover, the emissions and fuel economy has been highly improved- the engines follow two posibilities: the 2.0 L or the 2.4 liter capacity engine. Acura will also feature a diesel option for the TSX, but unfortunately, this will be available some time after the launch of the redesigned vehicle.
