BMW Performance 1-series details leaked

There are rumors that claim an expanded BMW aftermarket accessories line to include the new 1-series range and there are a few details that leaked onto the profile web sites about this news. Named very simple „BMW Performance”, this accessories line was initially offered for the 3-series and Z4 lines and has known an impressive success till its debut in September. As revealed by the source, the performance line is alike the last year’s tii concept, following closely its design features and includes plenty of carbon-fiber, race-style alloy wheels and a new bodykit. As specific details, we can mention carbon-fiber mirrors, engine dress-up kits, a bootlid spoiler, plus uprated brakes and suspension pieces.

There have been made important upgrades also to the engine, which received plenty of improvments including features like high-flow air filters and exhaust mods and some other facts which were made public just in German, so we are all waiting for an English official news about this. However, one of the most interesting mods is the new shift kit, which is said to reduce shift lever travel by up to 25% and, thus, improve shift times.
