Ferrari FXX sold for 2.6 million euro

One of the very rare Ferrari FXX was sold several days ago for the astonishing sum of 2.6 million euro- it is worht mentioning that the masterpiece was produced in just 29 units wolrldwide and was offered to a very exclusive club of long-time Ferrari collectors. For the ones of you that are not really in theme with the FXX model, the vehicle is actually a development test-bed for new technologies that will eventually filter across to Ferrari’s future road cars and anyone who owns one gets some dedicated track time at Ferrari’s own Fiorano test track with a pit crew and all the rest.

Also worth mentioning is the fact that to originally qualify as a potetial buyer of the FXX model, you would have to already be the owner of some other several V12 powered Ferrari vehicles and be in close relations with the carmaker- this for sure raises one big question mark why did the previous owner decided you sell such an exclusivist model if it was so difficult to get one in the first place. The original owner is based in Yokohama, Japan, but the auction took place, obviously, in Dubai.
