The irreplaceable Audi quattro stored in a secret location in UK

Fame returned to the sought-after original Quattro by Audi thanks to its first class role in the brand new BBC series `Ashes to Ashes`, TV drama set in 1980. The most precious example of the legendary sports auto that pioneered the four-wheel-drive for production road vehicles is Audi UK`s own unregistered automobile with zero miles, and it will never be put out for sale.

So rare`s this auto - the last quattro sports car right-hand-drive ever made - that Audi`s forced to keep it in a secret place and stored in a dehumidified, sealed environment. Similar to the TV star seen nationally each week as an example from February 7th, the as- new, only as it left the line the Audi-owned example shares even the same paint color – a bright red.

An untouched and as all new auto could be worth actually an unlimited sum to some enthusiast Audi collector. We would never be able to replace this car and its value to the brand is inestimable said Jeremy Hicks – the Director of Audi UK. Whenever we have exhibited it, we have received a succession of surprisingly high offers, but sadly this particular car, the quattro that started it all for the company in the early eighties, will never be for sale.
