Porsche presents the 2008 Boxster RS 60 Spyder at the 18th Auto Mobil International

Porsche will present at the 18th Auto Mobil International (AMI) on April 4th at in Leipzig the all-new Boxster RS 60 Spyder. This RS 60 Spyder model is a vivid reminder of Porsche racing era on the ’sixties in color, fittings, philosophy and shape.

The Boxster RS 60 Spyder presents a top power of 299 HP and has sporting exhaust system, the sporty driving dynamics mixed with PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) as basic equipment, plus 19-inch wheels.

At the motor show you’ll find other highlights to be appreciated, also: the innovative power train for the future Cayenne, along with its Full Parallel Hybrid drive that gives particularly low consumption of fuel, and the RS Spyder racing car from Porsche.

With eight wins in 2007 in the ALMS (American Le Mans Series), the RS Spyder model has proved itself the racing auto with the most international victories to have been created and made in Germany. Moreover, on its triumphal progress via the USA, the RS Spyder unit was using the especially friendly environmentally E10-fuel which has 10 % bioethanol by volume.
